“Getting Connected” How expat husbands can protect their marriage, career, and peace of mind.

 

In this first post on ways expat husbands can avoid marital infidelity, I want to offer one practical strategy which is to become a member of a positive social group. Or in other words “Get Connected”. Fortunately there are many other such strategies which I will cover in future posts.

Although with globalization there is increased transfer of married couple to foreign countries there is a dearth of information on what factors help hold together such relationships. I would greatly appreciate any thoughts or experiences you have which are relevant to expat husbands and sexual infidelity in order to help expand the knowledge base on this relatively unknown topic. Your contribution may help other expat husbands avoid being sexually unfaithful and all the serious consequences that likely follow e.g. divorce, separation from children etc. I have learned through my psychological practice in Asia that in general the best way to help men is to provide practical strategies while in general women prefer exploring emotions etc. So in your feedback and comments please try to be practical and not to lecture or blame.  And if you catch me doing so please let me know.
